TapLeads ("we", "our", or "us") is a smart networking and lead management platform operated by Insightaa AI Digital Marketing Agency. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at tapleads.in.
We collect the following types of information: • Account information: Name, email address, phone number, username, and password when you create an account. • Profile information: Business name, title, bio, social media links, profile photo, cover photo, and other information you add to your profile. • Lead data: Contact information of leads you capture through your digital card — including names, phone numbers, email addresses, and notes. • Usage data: How you interact with our platform, features you use, and actions you take. • Payment information: Payment transactions are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details. • WhatsApp data: When you use our WhatsApp Broadcast feature, we process phone numbers to send messages via the WhatsApp Business API. • Social Studio data: If you use TapLeads Social Studio, we collect your Studio account details (name and WhatsApp number), your business workspace details (business name, category, region, website, goals, budget and content strategy), the posts you plan (captions, photos and videos you upload), your team members' names and WhatsApp numbers, and data from Facebook and Instagram accounts you choose to connect (see section 5).
We use the information we collect to: • Provide, operate, and maintain our platform • Process payments and manage subscriptions • Send WhatsApp broadcast messages on your behalf to your leads • Send you notifications about new leads, account activity, and product updates • Publish posts to the Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts you connect, only after your team approves them in Social Studio • Send approval requests and posting reminders to your team members on WhatsApp • Improve and personalise your experience • Respond to your support requests • Comply with legal obligations
We use the WhatsApp Business API (Meta) to enable our Broadcast feature. When you send broadcasts, messages are sent from our registered WhatsApp Business number (+91 92920 29689) on your behalf. We store incoming replies to your broadcasts in our secure database so you can view and respond to them. We do not use your leads' WhatsApp data for any purpose other than sending the messages you explicitly request.
TapLeads Social Studio lets a business plan, approve and publish social media posts. When you connect accounts using Facebook Login for Business, you choose which Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts Studio may use. For those accounts we receive and store only: • The Page and Instagram account IDs, names, usernames and profile pictures • An access token for each connected account, which we store encrypted in a secure vault and use only to publish your approved posts • The permissions you granted • The posts we publish for you, and the links to them We use this data only to show you which accounts are connected and to publish the posts your team created and approved, at the time you scheduled. We do not read your personal Facebook profile, friends, messages or any Page you did not select. We do not use data from Facebook or Instagram for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone else. Photos and videos you upload for a post are stored with a public link, because Facebook and Instagram require a public link to publish them. Do not upload anything you do not intend to publish. You can disconnect a Facebook Page or Instagram account at any time in Social Studio (Setup → Connect → Disconnect), which deletes its access token immediately. You can also remove TapLeads in your Facebook settings under Business integrations. Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS). We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Lead data you collect belongs to you and is stored under your account. Access tokens for connected social accounts are stored encrypted in a secure vault and are never shown in the app or shared with your team members.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: • Service providers: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Razorpay (payments), Meta (WhatsApp messaging, and publishing to the Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts you connect), Anthropic (AI card scanning). • Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights. We do not share your lead data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Lead data is retained as long as you maintain your account. You can delete your account and data by contacting us at nextrendonline1@gmail.com. When you delete a lead, it is permanently removed from our systems. Social Studio data is kept while your Studio account is active. When you disconnect a social account, its access token is deleted immediately. When you ask us to delete your Studio account, we delete your workspaces, posts, uploaded media, team members, connected accounts and approval history within 30 days. We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
TapLeads is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our platform. Your continued use of TapLeads after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
